THE FOLLOWING OFFICE POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT YOUR TRI-C SNA:
🔥 Breakthrough to Nursing Officer/Campus Rep
Develop programs to enhance student involvement in SNA to promote social cohesion amongst all campuses and all disciplines of nursing students
Initiate contact with local high schools, campuses and community organizations in hopes of increasing SNA participation outside the nursing department
Increase in SNA membership the recruitment
Organize NSNA cord sales
Attend conferences, community events, departmental events, etc. where possible
🔥 LPN Officer
Increase participation of practical nursing students and SNA meetings and events
keep practical nursing students informed about SNA
Assist Student Support Representative with organizing and initiating groups, tutors, etc. as needed
Attend conferences, community events, departmental events, etc. where possible
🔥 Peer Mentoring Coordinator
Mission: To support students that struggle with the demands of nursing school and to retain students that may otherwise drop out of the program due to lack of support
Encourage students who need emotional support, academic assistance or simply want to network with like-minded students
Matches first semester nursing students with third semester nursing students in a year-long mentoring relationship
Provide our students are friendly, welcoming and save environment for all regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation or disability
Increase participation of nursing students and SNA meetings and events
Keep nursing students informed about SNA
Attend conferences, community events, departmental events, etc. where possible
🔥 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS🔥
1. Must be a nursing student (LPN or RN) enrolled at Tri-C
2. Must submit a statement of intent PRIOR to the meeting
3. Must provide verbal statement of intent DURING the meeting
